i recently had a friend go to costa rica to visit family, and they know how much i love coffee, so they brought me back a bag. i haven’t had much experience with costa rican coffee, but i’ve heard great things, so i was definitely looking forward to it. oh, and the bag and packaging is super cool.
once i opened the bag, i felt like i had transported to somewhere tropical. the notes were so fragrant and amazing, chocolate and macadamia nuts, i couldn’t wait to make up my coffee. i decided to have it as a cappuccino and it was fantastic. it was so creamy, and tasty, with medium tones, so it was very easy to drink.
i’d never heard of bohio before, but i’m so happy i was able to try it. thats the thing, there are soooo many amazing coffee’s and coffee roasters all over the world. if you have a chance to try a new bean, be adventurous. ask a friend to bring you back a bag of beans if they go on a vacation, or somewhere you’ve never been, experience something new, you can be pleasantly surprised. i’ve posted bohio’s website and instagram, have a look and try them out if you can, you’ll love it!
