you know when you go to a diner, and you order your eggs and bacon, or waffles, or pancakes, and the waitress pours you a hot cup of joe, and it just seems like all your troubles have gone away. you’re not thinking about anything except that cup of coffee, because its just so perfect at that very moment.
that’s what paper plane’s tinto blend was like. except, i wasn’t at a diner waiting on breakfast, i walked into my kitchen and noticed it was flooded. i was still half asleep, and i knew i needed one thing, coffee. i thought this bean would be perfect for my situation. instead of reading the tastes notes to see what to expect, it just says, “coffee…no, really, just coffee,” and that’s Just what i needed. i didn’t even bother making it into an american or anything, i had it straight up, my only regret is that i didn’t make myself another shot.
this blend was just so perfect as an espresso, but i think it would also be good as a pour over or drip, i’m curious to see what that would be like. either way, its one damn good cup of coffee.
so if you’re in, or around brooklyn (i’m very jealous of you), stop and get that cup of coffee you need!
oh yeah! did i mention that this has been a family business for five generations?? sheesh, another reason to try an OG coffee.
