so because i’m still a rookie at this, i try my first cup black with nothing in it, try to explore the tastes, then in my next cup, i add a creamer (because i still can’t handle the coffee black).

its not like this coffee in particular is hard to drink, some beans just taste better, and bring out the flavour more, when its been mixed. the fact that this coffee is delicious on its own says enough. while drinking it black, you enjoy the floral notes with a slight hint of acidity. usually i’m not into that, but its not that bad actually. its a smooth drink with a nice aftertaste, but to be honest, there’s only so much black coffee i can have.

in my second cup, i add a creamer, and man, the flavours just come bursting out! because this is a honey washed, you start to smell the aromas as you bring the cup to your mouth, then a delicious light nutty taste enters your mouth. i can only imagine how good this would be in a latte, maybe that will be my next test.

what i love about trying this blend station bean is that its local. this is great, amazing, coffee, right in my backyard. veracruz is only a few hours drive from the city, and the farmers there produce fantastic coffee, one more reason to come visit mexico city and try underrated, terrific coffee!
